Background

Mr. Tagliaferri heads the London office of GI Partners. Prior to joining the firm, he spent six years with Nomura, after which he served as a Senior Partner at Terra Firma Capital Partners. At Nomura/Terra Firma, Mr. Tagliaferri assisted in the investment and oversight of approximately $3 billion of equity capital invested in European businesses and properties. Previously, he was Founder and Chief Executive of Dawnay Day Corporate Finance, which was ranked in the top five U.K. mergers and acquisitions boutiques during his tenure. His early career was with Deloitte & Touche, where he finished as head of its London M&A Advisory Practice.
